For 2021, we worked with a team of artists to bring you our Day Series Pads.
The DayGlow design was created by Nick Kraft. Growing up in Northern Idaho, Nick has always had a love of nature and the outdoors. Longing for mountains, deserts and adventures are often the inspiration of his art, and he often paints the places he plans to visit. As a climber he loves drawing and painting cliff faces, Something that from a distance first appeared a dull grey slab becomes a series of intricate lines, cracks, water stains, and almost every color imaginable when you look closely. The inspiration for his pad design came from the skyline of Zion National Park.
The Sidekick is the perfect add-on pad to any of our other high-end crash pads. Knowing that bouldering pads are a significant investment, we designed a sleeker, trimmed down version of our other pads. We kept the same foam structure, the deluxe suspension system, the handles, and bomber cover construction, but removed the flaps and B.Y.O.Buckle since you'll be piggy-backing to another of our pads. Our reasoning behind this is that once you have an Asana pad, continuing to buy the expensive elements may not be necessary. Instead you can add square footage and thickness to your landing zone for less.
