Asana 8” Training System Padding

Modular Landing Pads for Home & Commercial Training Walls

Looking for the right padding for your home climbing wall or training board? The Asana 8” Training System is a modular, high-durability landing solution built for climbers who want something better than a pile of worn-out pads on the floor.

From budget-friendly home setups to full-on bad ass training zones, Asana’s got your back.

Designed and built in-house by our sewing team and fabricators, each system is quality-checked before being stuffed with high-quality foam and shipped out the door. These pads are built to last—and built to be serviced, repaired, and refreshed over time.

Built for Training (Not Just Falling)

The 8” Training System is designed for fixed training areas where durability, clean seams, and long-term performance matter.

Ideal for:

  • Home climbing walls and woodies

  • Campus boards and system boards

  • Commercial gym training zones

  • Kilter Board, Tension Board, and MoonBoard setups

  • Movement training and aerial arts

If you’ve ever trained on “jenky” padding that shifts, gaps, or breaks down too fast—this is the upgrade.

Modular Footprints That Actually Make Sense

Choose a footprint that fits your wall and your space. Modular pads allow for easy transport, storage, and future replacement—without committing to a fully custom floor.

Available footprints:

  • 8’ x 8’ (4 pads)

  • 8’ x 10’ (4 pads)

  • 8’ x 12’ (4 pads)

  • 10’ x 12’ (5 pads)

  • 12’ x 12’ (6 pads)

  • 12' x 14' (7 pads)

  • 12' x 16' (8 pads)

Pad sizes used:

Need a different size or larger coverage area? We offer custom padding starting at 100 square feet (extended lead times may apply).

Dual-Density Foam That Holds Up

Each pad uses Asana’s proven dual-density foam construction—designed to absorb impact without bottoming out and to hold its shape over years of training.

Foam details:

  • High-quality open-cell foam for impact absorption

  • Closed-cell foam layer for structure and longevity

  • Replacement layer available to refresh pads to like-new performance

Because these pads are serviceable, you can replace individual foam layers down the road instead of replacing the entire system.

Built Tough, Easy to Maintain

Asana training systems are made to live on the floor and take abuse.

Pad shells:

  • Rugged 1000D nylon shells

  • Triple-stitched stress points

  • Red high-visibility warning edges

  • Integrated drag handles

  • Velcro perimeter with seam covers to connect pads securely

  • Easy foam access for maintenance and repairs

1680D Ballistic Nylon Topper (included):

  • Eliminates exposed seams for a continuous landing surface

  • Water-resistant for easy spot cleaning

  • Attaches with hook Velcro around the perimeter

  • Fully removable for service and repair

In commercial settings, tarp replacement is typically needed after about 3 years, depending on use. Replacement tarps, seam covers, and foam layers are always available.

WARNING

We always recommend creating as big of a landing zone as possible. Current best practices are to have padding at 8 feet from the plumb everywhere in the landing zone. Some aspects of climbing and related activities, including but not limited to indoor climbing and bouldering are potentially hazardous and dangerous. Any person using our equipment in any manner is personally responsible for learning the proper techniques involved, and assumes all risks and accepts full and complete responsibility for any and all damages or injury of any kind, including death, which may result from the use of any equipment purchased through this website.
